Please read each of the following rules and guidelines prior to your scheduled volunteer date(s).

Prior to your arrival, you will be required to acknowledge that you have read, understand and will adhere to each of the following:

Volunteer Acknowledgements:

1. I understand that as a volunteer, I am representing Agape Church in providing my services to their mission. Under no circumstances will I self-promote, solicit or otherwise influence the participants or members of this organization during my volunteer duties without expressed permission by Agape leadership.

2. I understand that my actions are my own responsibility, and waive my rights to hold Agape liable for any events that take place during my volunteer service as a result of my actions or the actions of the congregation.

3. I understand and accept all health, physical and emotional risks associated with sacred plant ceremonies.

4. I understand that the duties assigned to me are based on my individual qualifications, experience level and skill set. I will not take on roles or responsibilities that I am not qualified for, and will not provide information regarding Agape Church events, services, or protocols. I will refer all inquiries regarding Agape Church to Agape leadership.

5. I understand that I am not permitted to discuss any experience or occurrence during my participation as a volunteer unless in an integration setting. I will honor the confidentiality of Agape Church members, protect their identity and protect the information and practices of Agape Church.

Volunteer Rules:

1. Under no circumstances can volunteers offer alcohol, illicit substances or other unsolicited services to the participants of the sacred ceremony.

2. Our members' experience is our first priority. Volunteers are required to perform the tasks assigned to them in a professional and courteous manner.

3. Volunteers are not allowed to self promote, offer information or recommendations regarding outside ceremonies or services, nor make unsolicited contact with Agape Church members during or after the ceremony.

4. Under no circumstance will volunteers engage with members sexually, regardless of consent by either party. Sexual relations is strictly prohibited while rendering volunteer services for Agape Church.

5. Physical contact will be limited between volunteers and members. Volunteers are not allowed to make physical contact outside of offering physical support and accompaniment to and from designated ceremonial spaces.

6. Volunteers will not engage in conversation with members under the influence of the sacrament during the ceremony. Use your words sparingly.

7. Volunteers will return all Agape tools and equipment upon completion of their duties.

8. Volunteers will not dismiss themselves from their designated duties or areas unless directed to do so by Agape personnel.
